Apple once again stressed that the company remains on track to ship the iPhone this June and Mac OS X Leopard in October, as the company has previously promised.

Apple was moved to repeat itself after a report claimed the iPhone has been delayed until October and Leopard will be a no-show until January 2008.

Apple denied this report, telling Macworld: "This communication is fake and did not come from Apple. Apple is on track to ship iPhone in late June and Mac OS X Leopard in October."

The original report on the popular EnGadget website cites a source it claims to be "solid", but has now been updated with Apple's denial of the claims.
