Apple is emerging as Europe's favoured maker of post production tools and software, according to Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster.
Munster notes that Apple had one of the busiest booths at Europe's recent giant movie and post production trade show IBC.
According to Apple Insider, Munster said 83 per cent of professionals in the sector are expecting to spend the same amount or more on post production tools in 2007 as they did in 2006, with Apple primed to grab 42 per cent of that budget.
Munster described Final Cut's impact on the market as "a way for Apple to continue to expand its footprint and entice potential customers into buying a Mac Pro".
The same research note also points out that iTunes now has an 82 per cent share of the online music industry.
