Apple opens its second European retail store in Birmingham, UK at 6pm today.
The shop (illustrated) is situated in Birmingham's Bullring Shopping Centre. As well as a first chance to buy a copy of Apple's next-generation operating system, Mac OS X 10.4 'Tiger', launch visitors may enter a sweepstake to win a Digital Lifestyle Collection worth over £2,000.
Visitors to any of Apple's global network of stores today get a scratchcard, offering them the chance to win a PowerBook G4, iPod or other prizes.
Many excited Midlands Mac users (illustrated) are already queuing to welcome the new store - and to acquire their own copy of Apple's hotly-anticipated Tiger OS.
Apple's Birmingham store is located at: Level 3, Upper Mall West; Bullring Shopping Centre, Birmingham, B5 4BU. The first 1,500 people through the doors will receive a free T-shirt.
