Apple's iPod HiFi now holds fourth place in the market for iPod speakers, according to the NPD Group.

NPD Group analyst Steve Baker reveals the iPod HiFi has 7.8 per cent of the speaker market, behind Bose, Logitech and i-Fusion.

Despite its fourth-place position, Apple's solution is bringing in 14.5 per cent of revenue spent in the speaker market - putting Apple just behind Bose.
