Apple UK will host a series of free seminars this month to showcase Aperture, its new £349 (including VAT) professional photography application.

The free events take place at London Earl's Court Olympia on November 22 and 23 and at the Hilton Hotel in Dublin on November 29.

The seminars are aimed at photographers who are shooting large quantities of digital images, especially in the RAW format.

The company will explain how Aperture makes using RAW image data as easy to use as JPEGs.

Apple explains its applications strengths as: "Letting you import, edit, catalogue, organise, retouch, publish and archive your images more effectively and efficiently than ever before. From capture to output, you work directly with your RAW files, never having to first convert them into another format before viewing, adjusting, organising or printing them."

Places at these events are strictly limited, so Apple recommends interested parties should register now.
