Apple has updated its network-management software with the release of Network Assistant 4.0.5 Updater.

New features include improved performance, and better reliability for copies performed through the Copy Items and Copy Hard Disk commands.

Versions 3.6.2, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.0.3, or 4.0.4 must be installed as a prerequisite to 4.0.5.

Apple’s advice is to update user workstations through Network Assistant. This can be done remotely.

The update is available for download from Apple’s Web site.
