Apple has released its latest batch of security updates and an AirPort update.

AirPort Update 2006-001 is designed to "improve AirPort reliability on Macs".

It also battens down the hatches against a hack that could allow malicious users to break into a Mac over a wireless connection. This is Apple's reaction to a recently revealed SecureWorks hack. That hack let a researcher take over a MacBook, but only using a third-party, not Apple, wireless driver.

Apple has also released three security updates which help secure AirPort, with versions available for Mac OS X 10.3.9 and for both Intel and PowerPC Macs running OS X 10.4.7.

These updates work in conjunction with the AirPort update to make Mac systems more secure.
