Apple has upped the processor speeds on its range of PowerBook G4 professional laptops, with the top-end model now reaching 800MHz. This model sports hard drives up to a 60GB. Graphics cards have also been promoted to the ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 with 32MB DDR video memory – up from 16MB on the previous range.

The entry-level PowerBook adopts the previous high-end 667Mhz G4 chip, and all models now boast a 133MHz system bus.

The new 15.2-inch mega-wide display features an enhanced resolution of
1,280-x-854 pixels, 23 per cent more than previous models, along with higher
brightness and better colour saturation.
