Apple's US customers can get a $200 rebate on the cost of any iMac DV+ or iMac DV Special Edition – but the offer has not been posted on the company's UK Web site.

According to reports on MacCentral, the rebates are being offered on machines that are deemed "end of line" (EOL).

Several US retailers, such as CompUSA, have confirmed that existing iMac models are to be declared EOL within the next 30 days.

To be eligible for this offer, valid from January 13-February 14, an Apple iMac DV+ or iMac SE has to be purchased through The Apple Store.

Apple representatives said there were no plans to offer the rebate in the UK at this time.
