Apple's vice president of worldwide product marketing Philip Schiller will be attending DV Expo, which runs from December 3 to 7, as a keynote speaker.

In its fifth year, DV Expo focuses on digital-video production and postproduction. The exhibition will be held in the Los Angeles Convention Centre, Los Angeles.

Schiller will be discussing Apple's leadership position in the digital-video revolution and showcasing video solutions available on Mac OS X.

Schiller is responsible for Apple's product strategy, management and marketing. He helped launch the concept of multimedia at Apple in the late 1980's.

Last week, Schiller left EarthLink's board of directors to concentrate on his commitments to Apple.
