Apple has released a firmware update for its wireless keyboard and mouse.

The update brings the software up to version 1.1, and "improves the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mouse performance and reliability", the company says.

Both Apple's wireless products exploit Bluetooth to let them work up to 10 metres away form a Bluetooth-enabled Mac using 128-bit encryption. Both the keyboard and mouse cost £59 (including VAT).

Available for download from Apple the update requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later and weighs in at 1MB.
