Apple will announce its fourth quarter and end-of-year financial results October 15.

The company has issued no missed-targets warnings in the current quarter, in which it delivered new iPods, G5 Power Macs, and improved iMacs and PowerBooks.

Apple's financial results conference will be webcast on October 15. This begins at 5pm (10pm BST).

Apple's chief financial officer Fred Anderson earlier this month offered a positive outlook for the company. He said: "I believe that as revenue grows there could be substantial operating margin leverage in the company."

Anderson, who serves on the US Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Board, revealed that Apple’s consumer market-share climbed from 1.5 per cent in June 2001 to 3.5 per cent in June 2003.

He estimated Apple would see 7-8 per cent revenue growth in fiscal year 2003. Consensus forecasts on Wall Street predict 7 cents earnings per share.
