There's a new high street AppleCentre opening in Leeds on September 6, care of long-time Apple reseller, the KRCS Group.

The KRCS Group also operates a high street AppleCentre in Nottingham, Broadmarsh. The group provides digital colour production systems to the creative industries. The Leeds AppleCentre opens September 6 on Merrion Street, one of the city's main shopping areas.

Ken Woods, managing director of KRCS, said: “We've known for some time that there's a demand for specialist Apple suppliers on the high street, and we don't see why the UK should lag behind the US in serving the Mac community.

“Leeds was the obvious choice for our next shop: not only is it one of the country's leading retail destinations, it's also at the centre of a thriving creative sector. Add in two universities and other colleges, and it was plain there's a need we could meet.”

“By giving high-street shoppers the chance to experience just how good the Mac is first hand, we’re confident we’ll see Apple sales increase across the board,” he said.
