Apple's New Zealand distributor Renaissance is living up to its name as iPod success drives growth.

The reseller (which also handles products from other PC makers) took a 36 per cent hike in revenues year-on-year, and remains optimistic for more.

The company's Apple division delivered "excellent" sales growth, according to local reports.

"Our investment in the retail and education markets over a sustained period has resulted in this division achieving one of the highest market share figures for Apple computers in the world," it said.

The company anticipates more good fortune if and when Apple launches iTunes Music Store in the region, which it expects will drive further Mac sales.
