Photos of the top-secret Area 51 Air Force site in Nevada are being posted on the Web.

"This is the first glimpse into the most secret training and testing facility for the Air Force," said John Hoffman, president of Aerial Images, reports the Associated Press.

The company intends posting five images of the site, divided into four frames each, with partners Microsoft, Kodak, Digital, Autometric and Sovinformsputnik. The images were taken from a Russian satellite.

Area 51 has been a focus of the attentions of UFOlogists and conspiracy theorists since the 50’s. The images will be free for viewing, but downloading them will cost from $8.95.
