Aspyr is to publish Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Athena Sword for the Macintosh later this year.

The title, which is expected to ship in October, was licensed by UbiSoft and is being ported to the Mac by i5Works.

Athena Sword is a follow-up to last year's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, and follows an elite force of counter-terrorist operatives through eight all-new missions, including locations in Croatia, Greece and Italy.

The game also introduces five new multiplayer modes, including "Capture the Enemy", where the goal is to capture and subdue the opponents, instead of simply using one of the game's 64 real-life weapons on them.
