Bare Bones Software has released BBEdit 6.0.1, an update to its recently revised HTML and text editor.

The update has various enhancements, interface refinements, and repairs some bugs in version 6.0.

The Link Checker feature has been improved, attributes have been beefed-up and FTP passwords can now be saved without using Mac OS Keychain.

The update is available free to all registered BBEdit 6.0 users, and is available for download from Bare Bones Software.

Registered owners of BBEdit 2.5 or later can update to version 6.0 for $39, plus shipping and handling, by ordering directly from Bare Bones Software. The upgrade offer is not available from resellers. BBEdit 6.0 costs £99 from Mygate.
