The Beijing Macintosh User Group (Beimac) holds its September weekend on Saturday September 17.

The meeting takes place at 7pm (local time) on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the John Bull Pub (44 Guanghua Road) in Beijing.

The meeting will focus on how much BeiMac has grown since its first meeting on March 2, 2002. Members will also take a look at iTunes 5, Apple's new Mighty Mouse and the iPod nano.

The group is about to launch a membership identity system which will be valid for membership of BeiMac and also other groups.

Plans also exist for Beimac to become more involved with the wider Chinese Mac using community, and is looking toward a major self-run Mac festival in the Chinese capital on November 19.

BeiMac's October 2005 meeting (on October 15, 2005) will be completely iPod-centric, and will welcome all iPod people, be they Mac or Windows users.
