In the coming weeks Belkin will unveil a legal wireless stereo receiver system for iPods that uses Bluetooth.

The product is called iPod TuneStage, and consists of a wireless Bluetooth stereo receiver and a small attachment for the iPod. TuneStage lets users search through their playlists to choose tracks, selecting them in order to beam the songs to the receiver, which can be plugged into an existing stereo system.

The device operates at a range of 30-feet and is compatible with third and fourth generation iPods and the iPod mini.

Belkin's TuneStage is expected to launch this summer and to cost approximately £99.
