Best Buy UK is nearing its final days, and has launched its Closing Down Sale with many products discounted by 10 – 50 per cent.

Earlier this month, parent company Carphone Warehouse announced that all 11 UK Best Buy electronics stores would be closing, just 17 months after the shops opened, because the retail outlets failed to turn a profit.

Today, Best Buy launched a huge Closing Down Sale, which includes 10 per cent off all TVs, computing hardware, gaming accessories, gaming hardware and MP3/4 hardware; 20 per cent off printing, home audio and gaming software; 25 per cent off networking, software, storage, components and GPS accessories; and 50 per cent off DVDs, Blu-ray discs and CDs.

Best Buy's UK stores and website will stop trading on 15 January 2012, and the retail stores were shut this weekend in preparation for the Closing Down sale which started today. Best Buy gift cards are no longer available to buy.
