Granted Software has released Still Life 2.0.2, the latest version of its digital-video application.

Still Life is a stand-alone application that lets users pan and zoom over digital stills in order to produce video for use in iMovie, iDVD or other multimedia projects. The company says its application goes beyond iMovie 3's Ken Burns effect by allowing users to take multiple shots of an image, pan along a curve and rotate the camera if required.

The new version offers local-language localization for French, German and Spanish; improved OpenGL performance in preview mode and a more accurate path alignment guide.

Still Life 2.0.1 is directly downloadable from Granted Software's Web site. In preview mode it leaves a watermark on any exported video. Registration costs $14.95 until April 12, $24.95 thereafter. The application works with Mac OS X 10.2 and iMovie 2 and 3.
