CBS Marketwatch has named Apple CEO Steve Jobs as one of its winners in its list of executives who made the most impact in 2003.

It writes: "At a time when legitimate music downloads were catching on about as quickly as, well, Apple computers, Steve Jobs came along and did it right with iTunes."

Noting that the Apple's Music Store "isn't profitable", the report notes that the "cult" of Apple has "embraced Jobs' brainchild with the vigour that only they can muster, but the concept has also sent competitors like Dell and Microsoft scurrying to get their own music services up and running."
