The best-selling Championship Manager 3 will be coming to the Mac platform, Feral Interactive confirmed today. Football fans will know the PC version of the football game, that sold over 50,000 copies in the first week of its UK release. Originally released by Sports Interactive, Feral are porting Championship Manager to the Macintosh. The game is set for release in mid-November.

According to a poll in a UK-based Macintosh magazine, the game is the "most requested by miles for the Mac".

The Mac version will be released at the same time as the updated Windows version, and will be functionally identical to it. Version 3 will contain all the latest data for the 1999/2000 season. Oliver Collyer, MD of Sports Interactive, said: "We are delighted that Feral are releasing CM3 on the Mac, and we look forward to lots of Mac gamers joining the CM3 community."

Available in several European languages, the game contains extensive data for 16 leagues worldwide, and all the major European leagues. Pricing is unavailable at this time.
