In tandem with the launch of the MacBook, Apple has ramped up processor speeds and reduced prices across the MacBook Pro range.
The £1,399 model now hosts a 2GHz Intel Core Duo processor (up from 1.83GHz). On launch, the equivalent model cost £1,429.
The £1,699 model now boasts a 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo processor (up from 2.0GHz). This model is now £80 cheaper, too - it cost £1,779 on launch.
The 17-inch MacBook Pro has seen its price drop £100 to £1,899 (£1,999 on launch). This model still features a 2.16GHz Core Duo processor.
Beginning today, the MacBook Pro also offers the new glossy widescreen display as a build-to-order option on both the 15-and 17-inch models, at no cost.
