Beijing's Mac User Group has set-up a Wiki-based Mac Web site.

The Wiki Information Project for Mac users is described as a, "new Mac knowledge community which allows Mac users to browse information there freely, and also lets them edit an overwhelming majority of the articles posted there".

Beijing Mac User Group president David Feng said: "We're ready for prime time", adding, "any Mac user will be able to add new articles, edit existing ones more". No registration is required to use this site, he explained.

A range of articles have already been made available on the site, covering multiple Mac-related topics, such as: Mac operating systems, control panels, extensions, Security updates, software, hardware, peripherals and more.

"We are creating a new centralised Mac information database," he smiled.

The site currently offers Chinese and English information, with German, French and Italian versions planned to debut "in the next few days", he said.
