Kodak has announced its PalmPix digital camera.

PalmPix is an accessory for Palm m100s, it lets the m100 take colour digital-pictures – it also enables images to be transferred via infra red to other m100 users.

The device costs £68 and is both Mac and PC compatible. It captures full resolution VGA pictures, which can be viewed in greyscale on the Palm's screen. Once images are downloaded to the Mac they can be accessed as either JPEG or PICT files. The product ships with image editing software.

PalmPix has a 2x digital zoom, a self-timer and offers two image-quality settings. The product should be available within the next two weeks.
