Corel has announced its Painter Classic will be bundled with Wacom’s Intuos and Graphire graphics tablets.

John Riis, a director at Corel, said: "Wacom is the leader in the graphics tablet industry, and sets the standard for the next generation of graphic tablets. With the deal we are demonstrating our commitment to the MetaCreations product line."

Painter Classic contains a set of Natural Media tools, including paint, chalk and pen. The results look hand drawn, rather than computer generated, according to Corel.

Wacom's Masahiko Yamada said: "Corel has an amazing line of graphics software. Bundled with Wacom's graphics hardware, users will have a comprehensive graphics system."
