Apple staff and execs will be hosting a special UK event tonight at PC World, Croydon.

The event will be open to the public and features a live satellite broadcast of Apple CEO Steve Jobs' Macworld Conference and Expo keynote speech. Jobs is expected to introduce revised products in Tokyo.

PC World in Croydon has been chosen to host the event as it has an in-store Apple "eco-system". This has been designed to enhance the buying experience for Mac customers, and is one of the first such environments to open here since Mark Rogers took over as managing director of Apple UK last September.

Eco-expansion More Apple eco-systems are promised in the future. PC World will have a number of special offers available on the night.

Croydon's PC World will open at 11:30pm with DJ Mark Goodier spinning the decks to build the atmosphere till 1:00am, when the keynote broadcast begins. Attendees will get to enjoy product demonstrations which will include iDVD on the 733MHz Power Mac G4, iTunes, iMovie, iTools and AirPort.
