Express Newspapers are getting into the digital music game, with help from UK-based operator, Wippit.

The newspaper group has launched four music download stores for the Daily Express, the Daily Star, OK Magazine and the Daily Snack.

The partners hope to explore untapped potential music markets. The OK Magazine site is the first digital entertainment store tailored for a mainly female audience.

Farzad Jamal, group Internet development controller of Northern & Shell said: "OK's editorial focus on celebrity lifestyle is the perfect bridge to offer readers a direct opportunity to download entertainment products."

Paul Myers, CEO and Founder of Wippit said: "From Wippit's perspective it's an incredible portfolio to work with".
