London's digital music club, Playlist, returns on October 23 at a new venue, upstairs at the Progress Bar.

Playlist invites party-goers to come with their favourite 15-minute set of tunes on their iPod or other digital music player and DJ those tracks to the crowd. DJs just sign-up on a first-come, first-served basis, and have just 15-minutes to impress the crowd and the team of volunteer judges. The best DJs on the night win prizes donated by event sponsor, Rip and Burn Magazine.

Music lovers are also invited to attend if they don't want to DJ, but like a party, or if they simply want to volunteer to judge other people's music selection.

"It's a place where the audience has its own identity, where the next track is truly unpredictable. Because it's a shared experience, every DJ does their utmost to ensure they play sounds that keep the party kicking," the organisers said.

The Playlist Club Web site offers images, playlists, and news form the club, along with a location map for the Progress Bar.

The Progress Bar is at 162, Tufnell Park Road, London, N7 0EE - just two minutes walk from Tufnell Park Tube station. Admission is free.
