Roy Disney and Stanley Gold have vowed to withhold their votes at the Walt Disney annual board meeting on Friday.

They hope that by taking such action they will drive the search for a new CEO to replace Michael Eisner, writes Forbes.

Eisner intends to leave the company in September 2006, but Disney and Gold hope to wrap up the selection process this June, with Eisner relinquishing the reins.

Some, including Gold, have suggested that Apple and Pixar Steve Jobs would be a good contender for the post.
