DoubleClick has announced a partnership with RealNetworks.
The deal means DoubleClick will sell advertising, sponsorship and e-commerce solutions across the Real.com network in 16 countries. The companies already have a deal covering the United States.
Shelley Morrison, RealNetworks’ vice president of media and distribution sales, said: "With the growth of our international traffic and the proliferation of RealGuides in local languages, we are excited to have a partner who can connect advertisers to our growing audience base."
DoubleClick handles Internet advertising accounts for 1,200 publishers, including AltaVista, Sega, and CNET Japan.
