UK games developer Virtual Programming has released its demo version of forthcoming football management title Player Manager 2003.
The demo is available for download from the company's Web site. It is available in Mac OS X and 9.x versions, and allows players to enjoy half a season, though some features are unavailable. The full game is scheduled for release in "coming weeks", says the company.
Variables include youth teams, reserve squads, agents and team tactics. Players can develop as individuals during the playing season, and the title features a 3D-play engine that highlights the skills of chosen footballers.
Football Manager features a full range of tactical and management simulations, the company says. It also provides a search engine, which gamers can use to identify the best available players from a pool of 44,000.
