Mac and More has released details of its 4.7GB DVD-RAM drive, set to ship in October.
The product, part of Mac and More’s Box Clever brand, is the first Macintosh product that fully supports DVD-RAM drives, according to the company.
It’s built on a newly-launched Panasonic drive. It uses a high-speed SCSI interface, and is capable of handling both caddy and caddy-less DVD-RAM discs, DVD’s and various CD media.
The drive will cost £449. Mac and More suggest that DVD-RAM TuneUp is used with the drive. It can set-up the media, and read and write to DVD-RAM drives.
