The BETT 2000 Awards will take place on Wednesday, 12 January 2000 at London’s Hilton Hotel.

The awards, run by Emap Education, EC&T and BESA, aim to recognize achievement and commitment to the development of ICT resources for schools. Last year’s winners included Apple Xemplar, Tesco Schoolnet 2000 and Textease Multimedia.

Six new categories have been created for BETT 2000, including an innovation award and the Top 20 Award, which acknowledges the contribution made to UK education by small UK software-development companies.

Other areas include learning resources online, support service, and special educational needs software.

Anyone involved in the educational community can nominate their favourite resource, product or service. The closing date for nominations is October 8 1999. For a nomination form, contact Kate Dawson at [email protected]
