Digit has secured speakers from Electronic Arts to host its seminar on 3D effects and animation at VideoForum 2003 next week.

Electronic Arts will run through recent projects to demonstrate the techniques it uses to create 3D characters and animation. The company will also offer tutorials on creating 3D characters and animation, as well as advice for building solids and lighting textures in 3D games.

Alias|Wavefront senior consultant Andy Payne will speak in both morning and afternoon masterclasses. A ten-year veteran of the company, Payne will share his extensive knowledge of the industry-standard 3D application at the show.

The morning session will concentrate on animation techniques using Alias|Wavefront's Fluid; the afternoon session will focus on modeling objects using Mental Ray.
