Elgato has released its latest update for EyeTV, raising the application to version 2.2.1.

The company released Eye TV 2.2 on May 17. The latest update is available for download from Elgato's website.

The update fixes several things, including mending a problem with live playback of DVB-T in the UK affecting Channel 4 and others.

A problem in which the new EyeTV 250 failed to auto-detect HRC/IRC channel lineups on NTSC cable has been resolved; a problem with EyeTV 250 not switching channels for recording automatically has been resolved; a problem with the EyeTV 250 infrared remote control has been resolved; and a hang while updating the built-in Electronic Programming Guide after launching EyeTV 2.2 for the first time has also been resolved.
