Eurostar passengers will soon be offered wireless Internet access in its departure lounges.
The service (supplied by Broadreach Networks) will be available to all passengers at Waterloo International and Ashford International stations. Such access is also available in Eurostar's Paris terminal and will debut in Brussels next year.
Passengers will be able to buy access vouchers to use the service from Eurostar's ticket office, travel centre and information desks, directly using a credit card or through any of Broadreach's roaming partners.
Eurostar director of communications Paul Charles promised more support for Internet access on the company's fleet in future, saying: "The launch of the WiFi service in our UK terminals follows the recent introduction of our refurbished train interiors which feature power sockets for laptops and mobiles. Next year, trials begin with two suppliers for our onboard WiFi service."
