The UK's VideoForum event begins on February 11, and Macworld's sister magazine Digit is hosting a series of masterclasses there.
The masterclasses focus on Apple Final Cut Pro on day two of the show. Freelance TV director and author of The Easy guide to Final Cut Pro 3 Rick Young will share his years of broadcast experience.
Young will cover the essentials for using the application, looking at set-up, capture, editing, and sound mixing to video.
He will also examine offline RT technology, real-time effects, key framing and working with multiple video tracks, as well as discussing more-advance features, such as video nesting.
The intention is to discuss how Final Cut Pro 3 can be used in a working broadcast environment.
The half-day masterclass costs £49.99 (ex-VAT). Further information is available online.
