Extensis has released two free updates to Portfolio 8.

Extensis has added support for 22 new camera RAW formats on both Mac and Windows versions of Portfolio. Registered owners of Portfolio 8 are eligible to receive the free upgrades immediately through the Extensis website at http://www.extensis.com/portfolio.

Windows users gain two file format support filters which introduce support for Microsoft Office. They can now catalogue, find, and view files from Microsoft Word and Excel - but only on the Windows platform.
The Portfolio Raw Filter 3 update now supports over 80 professional digital cameras, including models from all major manufacturers. It's powered by technology from Bibble Labs.
"RAW support is more important than ever, and we are proud to continue our relationship with Extensis to develop and use our industry-leading Raw processing engine," said Eric Hyman, president of Bibble Labs.
Portfolio 8 costs £129 (excluding VAT).
