FileMaker is accepting registrations for this year's Developer Conference.

The conference takes place between August 13-17, 2006 at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida.

This year's conference is themed 'Bringing FileMaker Solutions to the Web'. It is expected to draw more than 1,200 database developers from over 30 countries.

Attendees will be able to select from among over 60 sessions - the most ever offered at a FileMaker Conference. These are combined into four interest areas: Fundamentals, Advanced, Web Publishing and Workshop.

"The increasing popularity of FileMaker has attracted a new generation of developers that is helping take FileMaker into new solution environments," said Dominique Goupil, president of FileMaker, who will deliver the opening keynote session during the annual event.

"Most of our developers are looking at how FileMaker's web capabilities can enhance their competitiveness in delivering best practices for their customers," he added.

Speakers will discuss FileMaker 8's web integration, ease-of-use, customised solution design and developer productivity.

There will also be a third-party FileMaker product showcase and FileMaker engineers, product managers, and technical support team members will be available for meetings.

The 2006 FileMaker Excellence Awards will also take place at the show.
