The free Firefox browser continues to blaze a trail online, with over 10 million downloads since November 9. reports the good news from the open-source Mozilla Foundation, which develops the technology.

It took ten days to reach the first two million downloads of the software, meaning the rate of downloads is also accelerating, following the release of the final version of the browser.

Last week, accompanying email application, Thunderbird was released for the first time. It’s not yet clear what the adoption rate is for this application.
