Apple is speaking to key US broadcasters to add more TV shows and other video assets to iTunes.

Reuters reports that Fox Filmed Entertainment co-chairman James Gianopulos told the Reuters Media and Advertising Summit that his company would be "open" to a deal with Apple to distribute its content through the iTunes service, following ABC's recent decision to do so.

Meanwhile, Clear Channel has also confirmed it is speaking with Apple, Microsoft and Yahoo about an online distribution deal, set to complete "in 2006".
