Unconfirmed reports indicate that the G4 Cube may be suffering from technical problems, a week after its announcement.

The reports say that two technical service bulletins were posted on Apple’s technical support Web site, only to be removed a few hours later.

The first report was of an audio problem with the Cube. The second discussed a problem starting-up Apple’s compact computer. Both bulletins were removed within hours of their posting, claims Thinksecret.

Rumours have already begun of three week delays in G4 Cube availability.

Though the reports remain unconfirmed, delays in the public release of the machine can only adversely affect Apple’s financial results predictions in the next quarter, lessening investor confidence in the same way as Motorola’s delay in delivery of G4 processors did late last year.
