A top gaming-titles boss has vowed he’ll dine on insects if any of his company’s products contain bugs.

Jason Whong, marketing director of Ambrosia Software has promised that - should he lose his wager - he’ll feast on spiders, locusts, crickets and grasshoppers at Macworld Expo in New York in 2000.

Ambrosia shareware products include Cythera, Ferazel's Wand and Pop-Pop.

Whong said: "I’m confident I won’t be appealing for interesting bug recipes."
