Apple's iPod is rapidly emerging as the icon of its age, with news of German daily tabloid aimed at 'the iPod generation'.

German publisher Handelsblatt today announced its plans to test market a new 47-page national daily tabloid newspaper aimed at the 'iPod generation'.

Circulation is set at 25,000, and aims at readers aged between 20-39 who don't read papers every day.

Numerous symptoms of the iPod's impact on modern culture exist: from newspaper and magazine launches, aimed at iPod users; to clubs, iPod flash mobs and more.
