Village Tronic has released its Desktop Doubler Graphics Card in the UK.

UK distributor, AM Micro has signed an exclusive deal to distribute the card in the UK.

The £59 card can run two monitors from a single PCI-connected Mac, splitting the desktop across two displays. It runs one display while the Mac's built-in video connector runs the other.

The card has a variety of uses - for example, HTML coding can take place on one monitor, while another previews the results. Two monitors are also useful for video editing.

The card offers 8MB of Video RAM, increasing the base VRAM pre-installed in older PCI Macs.
