Griffin Technology today announced its handy Lapel MIc.

Like any studio TV microphone, this wearable device offers stereo audio input. It can be combined with a Griffin iTalk and an iPod so users can flexibly record sound - interviews, lectures and more.

Griffin Technology president Paul Griffin said: "The Lapel Mic is a great new accessory for iPod owners everywhere, including reporters, broadcasters, presenters, and even students."

The product features a standard 3.5mm stereo mini-jack and a swivel clip. Price and shipping dates to be arranged. The company's products are distributed in the UK by AM Micro.
