Destineer's MacSoft unit has released a 1.0.5 patch for Halo to provide additional functionality and fix a bug.

Objects and vehicles now have reflective surfaces, and a Model Reflections option has been added to Graphics Settings – as long as ATI Pixel Shader or NVIDIA NV shader modes are available.

A bug that prevented eMacs and other analogue monitors with high refresh-rates from syncing to 640-x-480 resolution has been fixed. Issues with hardware "fogging" when using the Vertex Shaders rasterizer have also been addressed.

The patch requires Halo version 1.04 to work, and is for the English retail version of Halo. It does not provide support for Halo CE. Destineer says it is working on that version.
