Destineer's MacSoft unit has released an update for Halo, bringing the game up to version 1.5.

The updater is only for the US version of the game and puts the Mac code in sync with the PC code for the title. Halo has sold over three million units for the Xbox. The Mac version adds 16-player online multiplayer support, new maps and vehicles and more.

A variety of small improvements include: an advanced pixel shaders option; support for more USB gamepads and joysticks; GameRanger support; optimized lens flare effects; and a slew of bug fixes.

The update - for US versions of the game only - is available from MacGameFiles.
